Aldo is not your average radio presenter!

A newcomer to the world of radio at the start of the COVID-19 Lockdown in April 2020, he kick-started Lomond Radio to offer companionship and support to the local community throughout a troubling and difficult time for all.

With a passion for music that transcends time and genre, he is a true connoisseur. Born and raised in a household where melodies filled the air, his love affair with music began at an early age. As a teenager in the vibrant 80s, Aldo developed a particular fondness for synth-pop, with a special place in his heart for the legendary band, The Cure.

Beyond the studio, Aldo's life is filled with love and companionship. He has been happily married for more years than he likes to admit and cherishes every moment spent with his wonderful wife Louise. Together, they have raised a daughter who has grown into an amazing individual. But that's not all—Aldo's faithful companion, Murphy, a lively Springer Spaniel, holds the honorary title of the Lomond Radio's official mascot.

When Aldo isn't spinning discs or discovering new tunes, he can often be found embracing the great outdoors. With a spirit of adventure, he embarks on hillwalking journeys, capturing breathtaking vistas through his trusty camera lens. Additionally, as a keen radio ham, he engages in amateur radio communication, fostering connections with fellow enthusiasts around the globe.

Join Aldo on an audio adventure as he shares his eclectic music collection, taking you on a melodic journey through time and across genres. Tune in to his radio show and prepare to be transported to a world where the love of music knows no bounds. Let the sounds of Aldo's World of Music be the soundtrack to your day!

Aldo hosts the New Music Wednesday show on a Wednesday from 10pm and Co-Hosts Friday Drivetime with Phil Briscoe from 3-6pm.
